Current Projects
I’m currently pursuing my A.A.-T in Psychology at Foothill College, with plans to transfer to a UC in Fall 2027 and eventually earn a PhD in Psychology. My academic focus includes trauma-informed systems, cultural identity, and developmental psychology.
Outside of school, I run a floral design business (BY NHI) offering creative floral arrangement workshops centered on healing, community, and mind-to-body connections. I also co-manage a community studio (Kindred Studio) in San Francisco that hosts classes, gatherings, and public events.
Alongside my business and coursework, I volunteer in a kindergarten classroom, supporting early childhood learning and development. This hands-on experience deepens my understanding of how trauma, environment, and care relationships shape a child’s capacity to learn, self-regulate, and thrive.
My current work reflects my long-term goal: to bridge lived experience with research and create systems that are informed, humane, and just.
